Emergency Construction on Kimball

Update 3/12/19
Today's scheduled asphalt work on Kimball Avenue has been delayed due to the rainfall the area received within the last 24 hours. Crews were able to complete some grading work today but this delay has extended the completion date of the overall project by one day to Friday, March 15.

Update 3/6/19
Emergency construction of under drains to transport rain from the area north of Kimball Avenue to the south will begin Friday, March 7.  The project was approved by the City Council on March 5 to prevent flooding that occurs when drainage from the airport spills over Kimball.

Construction will take place between the hours of 9 am - 3 pm on the following days:

Thursday, 3/7 - Friday, 3/8
Monday, 3/11 - Thursday, 3/14

The project is expected to be completed and the street fully opened by Friday, 3/15.

The street will not be closed, but only one lane will be open on Kimball between Euclid and Rincon Meadows at a time during construction, with traffic from both directions flagged through the open lane.  Please expect delays.

We realize this is a significant inconvenience to those living and traveling in the surrounding area and we sincerely appreciate your patience as we work with the developer to get Bickmore back to safe and driveable conditions.
